A view behind the scenes
The expert restoration and the care of classic cars as well as collector's cars requires comprehensive and specific knowledge of car history and engineering, materials, regional, national and international buying sources. Equally important is a functioning network of craftsmen with long professional experience that can carry out demanding work skilfully. Even today, after more than 40 years experience in the restoration of classic cars, I still personally work on a regular basis in my workshop and pass on my knowledge. When it comes to restoring classic cars nothing can replace experience.
As the founder and long-standing head of the "Technik- und Verkehrsmuseum" in Stade, I stand for the philosophy to reconstruct classic cars faithfully and to preserve as much patina as is reasonably possible. Therefore the optical beauty of your car is as important to me during the restoration, repair and maintenance as its preservation.
